I’m a dedicated fan of Bruce Springsteen so it’s an added bonus that he is closely connected to Equestrian sport, as his daughter Jessica is a talented and successful show jumping rider.
Jessica has a selection of very good horses, and she was a very lucky lady last September when Murka’s Vindicate W was purchased for her to ride.
Vindicate was the horse that Peter Charles partnered at the London Olympics, and they were in the team that won Gold for Great Britain.
Jessica and Vindicate had already won a big competition earlier on in Florida, and took first place again in a 1.50 class, last weekend.
This horse and rider are enjoying success together and are forming a great partnership. In fact, a very excited Jessica had already stated that she really feels she has something very special with Vindicate, more so than with any of her other horses .
You know what she means, that certain connection that many of us are fortunate enough to have experienced with some of our equines .
Bruce Springsteen is of course a famous singer/songwriter and rock legend, who has been high in the music charts many, many times.
I have enjoyed listening to his music and watching him perform over the last 3 decades, and now the possibility of bumping into him at horse shows where he’s cheering for his daughter, makes life even more exciting!
